Since completing a degree in Psychology in the late 1980s, Ian has had a variety of jobs, from working at the BBC, including tending to the Blue Peter Garden, travel researching for a guidebook for several years in South Asia, industrial cleaning in Belgium and for a short while he was the second fastest cycle courier in London (a little-known fact immortalised in song). For the last 15 years he has been a dedicated copy editor, working on over 150 books, covering all genres. His hobbies include sport, socialising, country walks and travelling.

With over a decade of book cover design experience, Jag brings a versatile set of skills to book covers and interior illustrations. Having gone through an artistic journey ranging from poster design to illustrating storyboards and concept art for short films, Jag creates canvas paintings and illustrating comic books.

SUE CROFT

Choosing Fine Art over a degree in English, Sue decided, on graduation, that her future was not in Pop Art, which was in vogue at the time, so she left the artistic path altogether and worked as a teacher, then as a careers adviser. Sue took a distance-learning course in copy editing and proofreading and for nearly 20 years she has enjoyed being part of an author's dream of getting their book published. Sue also runs reading groups, sings in choirs and has a black jacket in Tai chi.
