Standard Paperback Package

Our standard package will take your original manuscript to the point of having a finished book with a bespoke cover, a printer and worldwide distribution. The cost of this package is just £1,999. In detail, Self-Publishing Solutions will provide:

• Full copy editing of your manuscript, including arranging the internal layout to your specifications, making your book attractive and accessible to your readers.

• Design and production of a bespoke cover according to your preference.​​

• With your cooperation, and given no unforeseen delays beyond our control, we undertake to get most properly completed books published within 60 working days.

• At the end of the process, you will be given the final print-ready pdfs for the inside of your book and the cover. We make no claim to any of your copyrighted material and never will. We will also provide you with a 'Review Copy' pdf of your finished book for the purposes of sharing with potential reviewers etc.

• Once your book has been published, our team will be on hand to answer any of your queries and to ensure that your experience of self-publishing is as smooth as possible.

​​

• Most books average around 80,000 words in total. However, for any books that contain more than 80,000 words, we will charge an additional £12 per 1,000 words (e.g. a 93,000 word book would incur an additional charge of £156. i.e. 13 x £12).

​​

• If your book contains photographs or illustrations, either in mono or in colour, there is no extra charge for inserting these (although it may affect the print cost of each book). To ensure the best possible print reproduction, digital images should have at least a resolution of 300 dpi. Your copy editor may be able to help with scanning your images, if necessary.

• We can then point you in the right direction to become fully published with our colleagues at New Generation Publishing. 

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Interior Illustrations 

 

We offer a service of illustration services for interior pages, this would incur an extra charge, which you should discuss with your cover designer.

Kindle Version

Amazon Kindle is by far and away the most popular form of e-book across all platforms. We can make a Kindle version of your book and guide you in setting it up for sale in the Amazon Kindle Store. Please bear in mind that Kindle books work best with books comprised of text only. Books such as textbooks, which contain tables and graphs, do not lend themselves well to e-books, nor do 'coffee table' books which contain a lot of artwork or photographs. You can discuss this with the team whether your book would suit having a Kindle version. We charge a standard fee of £75 to make your Kindle e-book and help you to set it up in the Amazon Kindle store.

Marketing

 

We do not actively market your book at present but can advise you to take a look at New Generation Publishing’s range of packages offering a number of options to publicise your work.
